Description
Air Fried Babybel Cheese is a crispy, golden snack featuring melty Babybel cheese coated in seasoned breadcrumbs and air-fried to perfection.
Ingredients
- 6 Babybel cheese rounds, unwrapped
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- Set up breading stations: flour in one bowl, beaten egg with milk in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, and salt in a third.
- Coat each Babybel in flour, then dip into egg mixture.
- Roll in seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
- Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust.
- Lightly spray coated cheese rounds with cooking spray.
- Place in air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- Air fry for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Freeze coated cheese for 20–30 minutes before air frying to prevent leaking.
- Serve immediately for best gooey texture.
