Description

Air Fried Babybel Cheese is a crispy, golden snack featuring melty Babybel cheese coated in seasoned breadcrumbs and air-fried to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 6 Babybel cheese rounds, unwrapped
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Set up breading stations: flour in one bowl, beaten egg with milk in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, and salt in a third.
  3. Coat each Babybel in flour, then dip into egg mixture.
  4. Roll in seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
  5. Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust.
  6. Lightly spray coated cheese rounds with cooking spray.
  7. Place in air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  8. Air fry for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Freeze coated cheese for 20–30 minutes before air frying to prevent leaking.
  • Serve immediately for best gooey texture.
  • Pair with marinara or sweet chili sauce.
