Description
Rich, fudgy chocolate brownies swirled with creamy Biscoff spread, combining deep cocoa flavor with caramelized spiced sweetness.
Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 150 g unsalted butter
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 100 g brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 150 g Biscoff spread
- 50 g crushed Biscoff biscuits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together using a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly.
- Whisk in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and gently fold until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Warm the Biscoff spread slightly, then dollop it over the batter and swirl gently with a knife.
- Sprinkle crushed Biscoff biscuits on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is just set.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep the brownies fudgy.
- Biscoff spread can be substituted with other cookie butters if needed.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
