Ingredients
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1–1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3–4 minutes.
- Whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens to desired consistency.
- Remove from heat and use immediately over pasta or protein.
