Ingredients
- 6 cups Crispix cereal
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 120°C (250°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place Crispix cereal in a large mixing bowl.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup.
- Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and carefully stir in baking soda and vanilla (mixture will foam).
- Immediately pour caramel mixture over the cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.
- Spread cereal onto prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with optional toppings, and let cool completely.
- Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
