Description

Sweet and salty caramel pretzel bites made with crunchy pretzels, gooey caramel, and chocolate. These bite-sized treats are perfect for parties, gifting, or an easy dessert snack.


Ingredients

  • 40 mini pretzel twists or squares
  • 40 soft caramel candies (unwrapped)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for melting chocolate)
  • Coarse sea salt (optional, for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange pretzels evenly on the baking sheet.
  3. Place one caramel candy on top of each pretzel.
  4. Bake for 4–5 minutes, just until caramels are soft (not melted).
  5. Remove from oven and gently press another pretzel on top to form a sandwich.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Drizzle or dip pretzel bites with melted chocolate.
  8. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt if desired.
  9. Let set at room temperature or refrigerate until chocolate is firm.
