Description

Cheddar Bay Chicken Bake is a comforting casserole made with tender chicken, a creamy cheddar filling, and a fluffy biscuit topping inspired by Cheddar Bay biscuits.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stir in 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, prepare the biscuit mix according to package directions.
  6. Spoon biscuit dough evenly over the chicken mixture.
  7. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Mix melted butter with dried parsley and brush over the top before serving.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
