Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 burger buns
- 1 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
- Ketchup or mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Divide the beef into two equal portions and shape into patties.
- Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty and let it melt.
- Lightly butter and toast the burger buns.
- Assemble the burgers by placing patties on buns and adding lettuce, tomato, onion, and sauces as desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
