Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 4 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush baguette slices lightly with melted butter and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and crisp. Let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, toss diced strawberries with sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Spread a layer of melted chocolate over each toasted baguette slice.
- Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over the chocolate layer.
- Garnish with fresh mint if desired.
- Serve immediately.
