Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and Christmas sprinkles.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes until edges are lightly golden and center is set.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep bars soft.
- Line the pan for easy removal.
- Bars can be frozen for up to 2 months.
