Description

Christmas Cookie Bars are soft, chewy, and festive dessert bars loaded with holiday sprinkles and chocolate chips, making them an easy and crowd-pleasing alternative to traditional Christmas cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and Christmas sprinkles.
  7. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
