Description

Christmas Smoked Salmon Bruschetta Wreath is a festive and elegant holiday appetizer made with toasted baguette slices topped with creamy cheese, smoked salmon, and fresh herbs, arranged in a beautiful wreath shape for entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 8 oz smoked salmon, sliced
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pomegranate seeds or cherry tomatoes, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. Arrange the toasted baguette slices in a circular wreath shape on a large serving platter.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each toast.
  7. Top with smoked salmon slices, capers, dill, and parsley.
  8. Garnish with pomegranate seeds or cherry tomatoes and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Assemble just before serving for best texture.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
