Christmas Smoked Salmon Bruschetta Wreath is a festive and elegant holiday appetizer made with toasted baguette slices topped with creamy cheese, smoked salmon, and fresh herbs, arranged in a beautiful wreath shape for entertaining.
Ingredients
- 1 large baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream or crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 8 oz smoked salmon, sliced
- 2 tbsp capers, drained
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pomegranate seeds or cherry tomatoes, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and black pepper until smooth.
- Arrange the toasted baguette slices in a circular wreath shape on a large serving platter.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each toast.
- Top with smoked salmon slices, capers, dill, and parsley.
- Garnish with pomegranate seeds or cherry tomatoes and serve immediately.
Notes
- Assemble just before serving for best texture.
- You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
- Keep smoked salmon chilled until ready to use.
