- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan or loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and whisk gently until fully incorporated.
- Stir in melted butter until the batter is smooth and glossy.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
