Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and honey.
- Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Meanwhile, whip softened butter, honey, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Serve cornbread cake warm with whipped honey butter on top.
