Description

Cranberry Brie Cheese Appetizer is an easy and elegant starter featuring warm, melty brie topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and crunchy nuts, perfect for holiday gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional, for pastry)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using puff pastry, place the brie in the center of the pastry and wrap it completely, sealing the edges.
  3. Brush the wrapped pastry with beaten egg.
  4. Place the brie (wrapped or unwrapped) on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and pastry is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with cranberry sauce, chopped nuts, honey, and rosemary.
  7. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

  • You can skip the puff pastry for a lighter version.
  • Homemade cranberry sauce adds extra flavor.
