Description

Flaky crescent dough bites filled with a creamy sweet cream cheese mixture and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for holidays or easy appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) tube crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp orange zest (optional)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional, for brushing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and cut into 24 small squares.
  3. Press each dough square into the cups of the mini muffin tin.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture into each dough cup.
  6. Add a dollop of cranberry sauce on top of the cream cheese layer.
  7. Sprinkle orange zest over the filling, if using.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • You can substitute whole berry cranberry sauce with homemade cranberry relish.
  • Add chopped pecans for extra crunch.
  • These bites are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
