Ingredients
- 1 medium green cabbage, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add chopped cabbage and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring, until slightly softened.
- Pour in vegetable broth and cover; simmer for 10 minutes until cabbage is tender.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream.
- Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
- Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
