Description

Crispy, golden roasted potatoes tossed with Lipton onion soup mix — an easy, flavorful side dish that’s perfect for any meal and ready with minimal prep time.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes or Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine potato chunks, olive oil, onion soup mix, garlic powder (if using), and black pepper. Toss until potatoes are evenly coated.
  3. Spread the potatoes out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 35–40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 20 minutes before roasting, then pat dry.
  • Use red or Yukon Gold potatoes for the best texture and buttery flavor.
  • You can add diced onions or bell peppers for extra flavor and color.
  • These potatoes make a perfect side for steak, chicken, or burgers.
