Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces penne or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then add to the skillet.
  4. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Add the cooked pasta and stir until everything is evenly coated and heated through.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
