Ingredients
- For Crust:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- For Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup eggnog
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms.
- Press dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add eggs, eggnog, melted butter, vanilla extract, and nutmeg; mix until combined.
- Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Pour filling evenly over the crust.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly gooey.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Center should jiggle slightly when done.
- Chill bars for cleaner slices.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
- Store refrigerated due to eggnog and cream cheese.
