Description

Fudgy heart-shaped brownies with a rich chocolate flavor, perfect for Valentine’s Day or any romantic celebration.

Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150 g unsalted butter
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g all-purpose flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together using a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  9. Allow brownies to cool completely, then use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out brownies.

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy.
  • Chill brownies slightly before cutting for cleaner shapes.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate for decoration.
