Description

Holiday Pigs in a Blanket are a festive appetizer made with savory cocktail sausages wrapped in buttery crescent roll dough and baked until golden, perfect for parties and holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 package (12 oz) cocktail sausages
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • Honey mustard or ketchup for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  3. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 2–3 smaller strips.
  4. Wrap each strip of dough around a cocktail sausage, stretching slightly to cover.
  5. Place the wrapped sausages seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush lightly with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if using.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
