Description

A creamy, savory baked chicken dish featuring tender chicken breasts smothered in rich Boursin cheese, herbs, and garlic, baked until juicy and golden.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 600 g)
  • 1 package (150 g) Boursin cheese, garlic & herb flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs.
  4. Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the Boursin cheese, heavy cream, and minced garlic until smooth.
  6. Pour the cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  7. If using, sprinkle shredded mozzarella or Parmesan over the top.
  8. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
