Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 600 g)
- 1 package (150 g) Boursin cheese, garlic & herb flavor
- 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs.
- Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the Boursin cheese, heavy cream, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Pour the cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- If using, sprinkle shredded mozzarella or Parmesan over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can add mushrooms or spinach to the dish for extra flavor and nutrition.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
- Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
