Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 oz) pecan pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and pecan pie filling.
  3. Pour mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the filling (do not stir).
  5. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cake mix.
  6. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden and set.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
