Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup whipped topping or heavy cream, whipped
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Mix in peppermint extract, adjusting to taste.
- Gently fold in whipped topping or whipped cream until light and fluffy.
- Stir in crushed peppermint candies if using.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
