Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage links or cocktail sausages
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut crescent roll dough into strips and wrap each sausage like pigs in a blanket.
- Arrange wrapped sausages evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over the sausages.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until eggs are set and the top is golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with maple syrup or honey for dipping.
- You can use mini hot dogs or breakfast sausage links.
- Leftovers reheat well the next day.
