Description

Easy, elegant appetizer bites made with fresh mozzarella wrapped in salty prosciutto and baked until warm and irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 12 mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • 6 slices prosciutto, halved lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh basil for serving (optional)
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat mozzarella balls dry with a paper towel.
  3. Wrap each mozzarella ball with a strip of prosciutto and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and pepper.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until prosciutto is crisp and mozzarella is warmed.
  6. Top with fresh basil and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure the mozzarella is well-dried to help the prosciutto stick.
  • Add a small basil leaf under the prosciutto for extra flavor.
  • Serve with toothpicks for easy party appetizers.
