Ingredients

  • 4 plain bagels
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon or sausage, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped spinach or bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Slice the top third off each bagel and hollow out the center, leaving a thick shell.
  3. Arrange bagels upright in the prepared baking dish.
