Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts or thighs – 1.5 lbs
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced – 6 cloves
  • Chicken broth – 1 cup
  • Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • Parmesan cheese, grated – 1/2 cup
  • Italian seasoning – 1 tsp
  • Fresh parsley, chopped – 1 tbsp


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened slightly.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
