Description

Bold and savory sausage balls made with spicy sausage, Rotel tomatoes, and cream cheese—perfectly cheesy, slightly spicy, and ideal for parties or game day.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb spicy pork sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose baking mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 1/2 cup Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, drained well
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sausage and softened cream cheese until well mixed.
  3. Add shredded cheddar, baking mix, drained Rotel, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Drain Rotel thoroughly to avoid excess moisture.
  • Use mild sausage if you prefer less heat.
