Description
Savory turkey stuffing balls made with classic herbs, breadcrumbs, and broth—crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside.
Ingredients
- 4 cups leftover stuffing (or prepared boxed stuffing)
- 1 cup cooked turkey, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup chicken or turkey broth
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, combine leftover stuffing, chopped turkey, sage, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the egg, melted butter, and broth. Mix until the mixture holds together when pressed. Add more broth if needed.
- Form the mixture into golf-ball-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm, with gravy for dipping.
Notes
- If the mixture is too dry, gradually add more broth until it sticks together.
- These freeze well—freeze before baking and bake from frozen with 5 extra minutes.
- Perfect for using leftover Thanksgiving stuffing and turkey.
