Description

A creamy, rich white garlic pizza sauce made with butter, garlic, and milk—perfect as a flavorful alternative to traditional red sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  5. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3–5 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  8. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before spreading on pizza dough.

Notes

  • Sauce will thicken more as it cools.
